It looks like you've been gone for a while, I'll fill you in on the last year, since you seemed to have left at roughly the same time that I joined.
The last wave of trolls, Grugore and puppet accounts, seem to have left. We haven't has any site-wide drama in a about three weeks ago, then we had the members from www.manhood101.com (trolls/spammers, pretty sure that they're related to the former).
Then we had the user who constantly talked about marrying his dog, which sounds hilarious but he quickly started (constantly) talking about his "intimate" moments with his dog.
Also, well known accounts such as Quocalimar, Intangible, Prayerfails, Axmeister, Delta, ChuckHades, Jungelson, and Sitara's (first) account are dead. TheAshman, HoldTheMayo, Warjin, and Cuaroc rarely post at all. Sitara's drama with the site ended about 9 months ago, so don't bank on any more of those lulz.

All of your enemies, except Warjin, are completely gone. Your hostiles are gone, too. We also received a large number of new users, I'd say that, overall, this place has been more or less the same size since you left.
Exactly, this place offers way more than debate.org, by far.
Although I might be able to to find a greater variety of topics to debate on elsewhere, and in greater depth, the community in this site is unbeatable, and the overall setup of the website is much more user friendly.
You're missing the point, your rebuttal is only true in the sense that the metric and imperial systems are "artificial" (man-made), which is irrelevant. The relationships that ideas (such as time and ways of measuring time) happen to have with each other does not affect the synthetic.

Abortation is wrong; the abortion process ought to stay in one place (preferably a clinic or hospital) at all times.
EDIT: Abortation causes undue stress on the mother, and is a slippery slope that will lead to an unprecedented rate of potholes and off-road birthing.
No, I see it as a loss of life no matter how young the fetus is. The only time I see it fit is if the mother is in danger.
What do you mean by "life"? Are you referring to it in the sense that it kills something that is /alive/, or that it terminates a /life experience/, or something else?
If the former, do you have a deontological reason against killing what is alive?
